Why Vis Educationis?

This page was created as a result of my wish to share my passion and knowledge about the Latin language with the world. As someone who studied Latin for eight years, I can say that I find its benefits almost on a daily basis. Latin is a language that is considered dead, but that is, ironically enough, still alive, despite the fact that it has not had any native speakers for more than a thousand years. Impressive, right? This cannot be accidental. Latin has been the pillar of culture and education for centuries. Even now, in this age of easily accessible information and ways to educate ourselves on almost anything online, Latin is very much sought, from parents who want their children to have more ease at whatever they choose to engage later in life, to retired people who wish to spend their free time on widening their horizons and deepening their understanding of the world.
